APDS Logistics, Inc. is a full service supply chain company that provides turnkey solutions to a wide variety of manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. We offer traditional public and contract warehousing including temperature control, all modes of transportation services (refrigerated and dry truck service), contract and postponement packaging, and information technology solutions from our strategically located facilities in Northern California. Our temperature controlled facilities are especially important for any customer requiring a range of temperatures for storing products. We are also bonded for the storage and distribution of beer, wine and spirits.
With headquarters in Manteca, CA, APDS Logistics is well positioned near Interstate 5 at the Highway 120 and Highway 99 interchange in California to serve all the Western States with supply chain services. Our access to all rail, port and trucking services provides our customers with all modes of inbound and outbound requirements. Being in the San Francisco area we can provide short lead times for all California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon and Washington shipments. We operate our own trucking services to all these areas, but also use a wide range of common carrier options. Our location is also in the heart of the huge agricultural and industrial centers in the San Joaquin Valley. Many of the products from this valley end up passing through APDS Logistics on their way to market. Also, we are very close to the Silicon Valley for all high-tech customers who require the range of our service offerings.
Our packaging services are utilized by those customers who require unique club store packs, repackaging returned products, and labeling of products that are held in a generic form until the time of shipping. The flexibility provided by these services allows for reduced shipment lead times, reduces inventories and improved inventory turns for various products.
APDS Logistics has grown from a small startup company occupying 30,000 sq. ft. into a major company employing 250 employees using over 800,000 sq. ft. with 60,000 sq. ft. of temperature controlled warehouse space and 40,000 sq. ft. of production/packaging space.
