CONTRACT PACKAGING
The packaging services provided by APDS Logistics are value-added services that include a number of packaging techniques. They are designed to provide a package presentation to the consumer that is more visible, easier to handle and often creates multiple unit sales for each ring at the Point of Sale.
Shrink wrapping units together with high clarity plastic film is one of the most popular techniques. Also available is Printed Film. This process is similar to our shrink wrapping only pre-printed film is used instead of the clear film.
High cone packing of cans with 4, 6, or 8 plastic loops is also in high demand.
"Half Sealed Carton" and “Full Sealed Carton” is processes is similar to the jacket packing only the carton is glued instead of interlocked.
Other services include module building, rainbow flavor assortment packing, gift packs, promotional display packs and private labeling of cans and glass jars. Custom bar code labels and pallet placards are usually produced as well.
APDS Logistics works closely with a variety of printing, box and fiber manufactures, film and packing suppliers in the area. In most cases, APDS Logistics can assist the manufacturer in the design, procurement and packaging of all required components for the desired finished product.
